Rising Strong

by Brené Brown

Following on her courageous life lessons, this book describes the physics of vulnerability: “If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall.” It is impossible to be perfect, and in life, chances are you will fail every now and again. The important lesson is to stand back up and try again.

Learning from Rising Strong

Living a brave life is not easy. We will inevitably stumble and fall – but it is in falling, often reaching the lowest depths of despair, that we are able to make peace with our disappointment and failure. This acceptance gives us the power to rise up with renewed hope and vigor. Being brave also means not being afraid to feel your emotions deeply, and this discomfort forms the basis of our greatest learning.
