I’m so excited to share that our podcast, Life Chapters, Money Choices, has officially launched! Our very first episode went live on 16 July – and it’s now streaming on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

This podcast is about creating a platform for open, courageous conversations about life’s big transitions and the often complex, emotional relationship we all have with money. I’ve long wanted to build a space where people can hear real stories, feel seen and understood, and realise they’re not alone, especially during times of change.

That’s why I’ve teamed up with respected broadcaster and award-winning financial journalist Michael Avery, whose empathy and storytelling experience made him the ideal partner to help bring these conversations to life.

Together, we’ve created a podcast that explores the emotional side of money and how it shows up during life’s defining moments — not just the hard ones like widowhood or divorce, but also the fulfilling ones: reinventing midlife, starting something new, choosing differently.

Each fortnight, a new episode is released, featuring either clients who have bravely and generously shared their stories, or conversations with Chartered’s Financial Planning Specialists, who reflect on the insights they’ve gained from walking alongside clients through their journeys.

Our first episode, Why We Tell These Stories, is streaming now. In it, Michael and I reflect on my personal story — growing up in a home shaped by financial control, experiencing profound loss, and ultimately finding purpose in helping others live with intention and courage.

This is a brave podcast. It’s about going deeper, being willing to sit with the discomfort of change, because on the other side, we often find more clarity, greater fulfilment, and a richer understanding of ourselves.

You’ll hear stories that remind us that transitions can be challenging — but they can also be transformative. You’ll gain practical insights, feel less alone, and, I hope, walk away inspired to make more conscious, purposeful choices in your own life.

My hope is that you’ll listen, reflect, and maybe even hear your own story echoed in someone else’s words.

🔗 Please follow the podcast, share it with someone who might need it, and if you have a story to tell, we’d love to hear from you too.

And always remember when it comes to your money, be inspired, be brave, and be on purpose.
